Wireless internet

anybody ever run into this issue?

I have an IBM Thinkpad (type - 1875) Whenever I use my home phone (cordless phone) it disconnects my laptop from the network. It's not only my phone that does it, I just experienced it at my parent's house too. I figure they are probably both operating on the same frequency but I don't know if it is possible for me to change the frequency of the wireless radio on my laptop or not so I thought I would ask if anyone else had experienced the same thing.

Re: Wireless internet

Ya, that isnt unheard of.  What you may need to do is change the channel in the router.  Channel 6 is the most popular and thus the most crowded.  Microwaves are also notorious for causing net drops...
